Senior Manager Joshua Rosenzweig to Testify Before Congressional-Executive Commission on China on August 3

On Tuesday, August 3, Dui Hua Senior Manager for Research and Hong Kong Operations Joshua Rosenzweig will give a testimony before the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) at a hearing entitled "Political Prisoners in China: Trends and Implications for U.S. Policy." The CECC holds such hearings periodically to gather information for reporting to the US Congress and the President.

In addition to Rosenzweig, witnesses will include Jerome A. Cohen, Professor at the NYU School of Law, Wan Yanhai, Director of the Beijing Aizhixing Institute, and Sophie Richardson, Asia Advocacy Director for Human Rights Watch.

The event will take place in Washington, D.C., at the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room 628, from 10:15 a.m to 12 p.m. It is free and open to the public. A transcript of Rosenzweig’s testimony will be available on Dui Hua’s website following the event.
